Well, that first preseason game didn't go so well for the Wild, but Wes Walz was a very speedy bright spot. He played like a man posessed. Boogaard managed to get himself into trouble, and Lemaire and MacT wore pretty much the same expression all night. Osgood was super lucky tonight. I can't even believe how much the Hockey Gods smiled on him.

Congrats, Steph. You have won this time, but there is a rematch on Thursday!

I can't believe the way Osgood was playing. I mean Jimmy Howard looked good, but some of those saves Ozzie made were absolutely sick. I didn't hear much about what he did with his offseason, but with that sort of performance, what I can hope is that he's really gearing up in hopes that he'll be able to take over the starting spot after this season. I don't know that I LIKE that plan...but if he's going to play that well, then I'm all for him thinking it'll happen!

Whoo Thursday! We'll be waiting!

looks like Kalus-Sheppard-Foy will be the fourth line tonight, with Moore starting between Demo and Gaby...should be fun!

Oh, Boogard. What else can I say? My goon-sluttyness is showing again. ;-)

Don't worry, it's just preseason. Nothing matters till the regular season!

Steph-Osgood was amazing. You guys had better hope he keeps that up.
NINY-Foy is my boy! I'm always glad to see him play.
Teka-Who doesn't love Boogie? He's totally awesome. Impossible not to love him, really.
Kms2-good point. I'll start freaking out if they get stomped that badly in the regular season.
