Top of the division once more...

Quick notes:
Last night's game was awesome. Mikko Koivu would probably agree with me, since he had three assists and was the number one star of the game. The Wild came out hell bent on revenge last night, and had better luck with the goalposts than a young Patrick Roy. Backstrom didn't get pulled, Gagner didn't make fools out of our defencemen, and I was at the game!

All in all it was a good night. The Avs chased Luongo out of the net, and the Wild took back the division crown with 91 points. A good time was had by everyone not an Oilers/Canucks fan.

Up Next: The Canucks at the X. I will be at that game, too! I have promised Alix some pictures ( I have pictures of the Oilers up on Facebook) to cheer her up, so hopefully they will let me by the glass. Should be a good game, and of course every game is important at this time of the year. I fully expect to see the thug line out in force tomorrow to take care of Kessler (not to be confused with Kessel...) and Burrows.

I'll be there tonight, too! Come by and say "hi". I'll be wearing my red Koivu jersey.

Wow, the Wild complaining that another team has a thug line?! Sheesh...you can ice a line that could double as an NFL defensive line!

At best, we have Kesler who is good at getting whacked in the face by Flyers and stomped on by Prongers and Burrows who's real skill is taking his own net off the moorings. And Ohlund is gone for the year, so there's your karma.

Simmer down up there :)

Yeah I don't think anybody that ices Chris Simon should be complaining about Kes. And I've seen Gaborik slash Kes and Burr right back so :)Thanks for the pictures if everything at the glass goes well!

Beth-I looked, but a lot of people have red Koivu sweaters these days.

Mike-I was referring to the Wild's thug line of Fedoruk, Boogaard, and Simon. Burrows was being a jerk tonight, Kessler was surprisingly quiet.

Alix-Pictures were successfully taken, like 25 of them since I wanted to make sure I got a good one. Burrows tried to maul Bouchard tonight. Poor guy, he's SO not a fighter.

Thanks for the pictures. I'm sure he looked pretty miserable *Sigh* Burr is most definitely not a fighter, but at least he tried.

You're welcome. He smiled for me, but I was unable to get that on camera.

Isn't it grand when you go to a home game of your favorite team and they win? What a feeling that is! Let's hope this was the start to a possible turnaround for the Wild just in time for the playoffs.
